On May 16, 2017, the Associationto Advance Collegiate Schools of Business sent a letter to formally acceptSchool of Business of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies to become one of itsmembers. This symbolized that School of Business have been recognized by theworld's most influential business school association and we have taken a solid firststep to apply for AACSB international accreditation. Since then, our facultyand staff can have access to all kinds of valuable resources provided by the platform.

Founded in 1916, AACSB is the oldest and most prestigiousaccreditation body among three major international business schools. The initiatorsinclude Harvard University, Yale University and other leading internationalbusiness schools.

School of Business formally submitted membership application materialsto AACSB in mid-April this year. Through strict review, AACSB formally approvedus as one of its full members with all rights and interests enjoyed by full membership.

In the future, we will actively push forward the AACSB applicationfor accreditation, which is another important step to promote the comprehensivedevelopment of business discipline through international accreditation, besidesthe AMBA international accreditation in March 2015. It bears great significanceto improve the status and influence of School of Business and GuangdongUniversity of Foreign Studies domestically and internationally.
