On June 12, 2023, JIAO Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, and YUAN Denghua (the person in charge), Vice Dean of SoB, attended the annual meeting of the European Foundation for Management Development (referred to as EFMD) held in Lyon, France. They had an in-depth understanding of the development trend and latest requirements of the international accreditation system for management education, and conducted in-depth exchanges with representatives of some universities in other countries to explore new ways of international cooperation. On behalf of GDUFS, JIAO Fangtai received the international accreditation of EFMD Business Administration Undergraduate Program.

GDUFS passed the EPAS international accreditation for the first time in 2020, becoming the third Chinese mainland business school and the 90th business school in the world that had passed EPAS international accreditation. Since then, with the strong support of the university, all the teachers and students of SoB have worked hard to promote construction, reform and development of the school through accreditation. Taking the advice and suggestions given by accreditation experts, SoB carefully reviewed and actively rectified. Sticking to the features of talents training and comprehensively improving the education, SoB successfully passed the re-accreditation within three years. Obtaining the re-accreditation of the EFMD program is not only an important part in our international exchange and cooperation, but also another important achievement of the SoB’s international PRIME strategy. SoB will take this opportunity to adhere to the principle of “Global Vision and Chinese Way of Business”, adopt the development path of “relying on accreditation, promoting construction by evaluation, and promoting connotative development and continuous improvement with international characteristics”, and continue to strive for the vision of becoming a high-level business school with international characteristics, thus promoting the international development of the university.
