From June 1 to 3, 2025, the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) Annual Conference was held in Munich, Germany. Hosted by the Technical University of Munich, the event brought together top business schools, enterprises, and higher education institutions from over 50 countries. SoB delegation, including DING Hao, Associate Dean, and LIU Shumin, Director of International Office, was invited to participate in this event. Centered on the theme “Navigating Uncertainty: Business Schools and the Ecosystems of Innovation”, the conference explored how business schools can drive development by fostering innovative ecosystems in the face of global uncertainty.
The EFMD Annual Conference served as a high-level platform for exchange and collaboration within the global management education community. Through in-depth participation in workshops, efficient conduct of high-level dialogues, and active demonstration of SoB’s development achievements, the delegation gained valuable insights into the latest trends and challenges in global management education, particularly in AI, internationalization, and accreditation. These experiences have provided new momentum for advancing SoB’s internationalization strategy and deepening its accreditation initiatives. During their stay in Germany, the delegation also visited SoB exchange students, CHENG Ziwei and QIN Yuxiang (postgraduates, class of 2024), at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt in Germany. On behalf of SoB’s leadership, the delegation extended care for their academic progress and well-being, along with warm greetings for the Dragon Boat Festival.
