On the afternoon of May 30, 2022, a delegation from the School of Economics and Trade of Guangdong University of Technology, including Associate Dean HUANG Rongbin, Director of the Teaching Department DUAN Fei, and Ms. AN Yanzhen, visited GDUFS SoB to conduct research and exchange on EPAS international accreditation. SoB Associate Dean DING Hao, International Accreditation Supervisor LIU Tianjiao, and Academic Secretary LU Wenjie attended the exchange meeting, which was presided over by Professor DING Hao.

Professor DING Hao first extended a warm welcome to the visiting team from Guangdong University of Technology’s School of Economics and Trade and introduced the four major business accreditation systems, SoB’s accreditation journey, and the mission-driven “closed loop” framework. Mr. HUANG Rongbin introduced their degree programs, majors, and faculty and student profile. He stated that despite the university strong in engineering, Guangdong University of Technology and GDUFS have similarities in their business and management schools; and he hoped to learn from the accreditation experience of SoB, GDUFS. Through distilling its unique characteristics, they aimed to continuously promote their School’s development, especially by steadily improving talent cultivation quality under the impetus of EPAS accreditation. In conclusion, the two sides engaged in discussions on specific issues such as each School’s unique positioning, accreditation strategic planning, and accreditation team building.
