On October 16, 2014, Professor Mark Haydn Oakley (AMBA accreditation assessor), Professor WANG Zhongming (AMBA China Regional Head), and Mr. George Iliev (AMBA Director of International Affairs) visited GDUFS to carry out the AMBA pre-accreditation work for SoB's MBA program. GDUFS Vice President and Dean of SoB, HE Chuantian, who is also Director of the MBA Education Center, along with members of SoB leadership and personnel related to the accreditation work, participated in this pre-accreditation activity.
The successful completion of this pre-accreditation signifies that GDUFS’s MBA program has taken another step towards official accreditation. The success of this pre-accreditation is attributed to the high attention and correct guidance of the university’s top leadership, as well as the concerted efforts of various departments, including the Office for Chairmen and Presidents, Publicity Department, Campus Security Division, Graduate School, Teaching Affairs Division, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Strategic Research Institute, Library, and Educational Technology Center. Moving forward, all relevant departments of the university, SoB, and the MBA Education Center will actively implement improvements based on the feedback and suggestions provided by the accreditation experts, in order to welcome the visit of the official accreditation panel.
(AMBA (Association of MBAs) is one of the world’s most authoritative management education accreditation systems, primarily aimed at international accreditation of MBA programs. It serves as a passport for a school to become an internationally renowned business school. Actively pursuing AMBA accreditation is of great significance for enhancing the MBA education brand of SoB, GDUFS, and accelerating the development of a high-level business school with distinctive international characteristics.)
