Dean ZHU Wenzhong first introduced the background of SoB’s application for EPAS accreditation. He then explained the importance of EPAS accreditation for SoB from the perspectives of enhancing the level of internationalization in our education, improving the quality of our undergraduate programs, and the overall initiatives for SoB’s development. Finally, he summarized the current preparations: since this project was included in the dual-quality (education and project management) construction of the university at the beginning of 2015, it has received support from all relevant functional departments across the university, and related investigations have been carried out in an orderly manner.

Vice President HE provided instructions for the work: he announced that Professor WANG Fan would be appointed as a visiting professor at GDUFS to guide related efforts, and emphasized the need to achieve EPAS accreditation to firmly grasp high-level quality management in the internationalization of our undergraduate teaching, ensuring that we maintain a leading position among universities in Guangdong. To complete EPAS accreditation as soon as possible, Vice President He requested all relevant schools and departments to increase efficiency, establish a dedicated project team, create effective mechanisms, and develop a practical timeline to advance the accreditation work in an orderly manner.
