From December 2 to 4, 2015, the 2015 International Conference on the Accreditation and Development of MBA Education and the 2015 Asia-Pacific Deans/Directors Conference were held at Chongqing University’s School of Economics and Business Administration, hosted by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and organized by Chongqing University’s School of Economics and Business Administration. The conference attracted nearly 100 representatives from well-known domestic and foreign institutions and organizations. SoB’s Associate Dean YUAN Denghua, and AMBA International Accreditation Advisor JIA Jia were invited to attend.

During the conference, SoB representatives YUAN Denghua and JIA Jia exchanged and shared insights with participants about the development status and experiences of MBA programs in China and at SoB. They provided constructive suggestions on how AMBA might leverage China’s “Belt and Road” Initiative in the future to offer more services to business schools in China and their students, alumni, and employers. They also discussed possibilities of inter-school cooperation with some institutions, and reported to Professor WANG Zhongming (AMBA’s China Region expert) and others on issues such as SoB’s faculty development plans.
