06/1999-05/2001: China Guangxi Corporation for International Techno-economics Cooperation Nepal Private Limited (GNPL), Kingdom of Nepal: Project Manager/ Senior Economist

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. In Charge of legislation, financing and negotiation for the Upper Modi Khola BOT Hydropower Project. Agreements such as PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), PA (Project Agreement) were signed with the Nepal Government and Generation License obtained.

2. To negotiate with banks and financial institute from both China and Nepal for the Upper Modi Khola and Langtang Hydropower .Project BOT Hydropower Project. Including confirmation of financing direction, drafting and assessing the Deferred Letter of Credit. They were the first BOT projects the Chinese companies ever run overseas
