On February 21, 2024, the Systems Engineering Society of China’s 3rd Session of the 11th Council, along with its sub-committee work meeting, was held at GDUFS Baiyun Mountain Campus. The meeting was hosted by the Systems Engineering Society of China and organized by GDUFS SoB. More than 150 people attended, including YANG Xiaoguang, President of the Systems Engineering Society of China; Vice Presidents FAN Ying, FENG Gengzhong, HU Xiangpei, LI Zhongfei, LIU Xinbao, and YAN Xiangbin, Supervisor General DI Zengru, Deputy Supervisor General YANG Cuihong, Secretary General TANG Xijin, and Executive Deputy Secretary General FANG Yong.

It is reported that the Systems Engineering Society of China (SESC) is a national first-tier academic society and a member of the China Association for Science and Technology. It was initiated by 21 experts and scholars, including QIAN Xuesen, SONG Jian, GUAN Zhaozhi, XU Guozhi, and LIU Bao. The successful convening of this meeting enhanced the understanding and awareness of GDUFS among scholars in the field of systems engineering, promoted academic exchange and cooperation between GDUFS and peer institutions, and effectively boosted the influence of GDUFS-related disciplines.
