Call for Applications: Academic Postgraduate Exchange Program at Audencia Business School for 1st Semester, 2025-2026

According to the Regulations on the Management of International Exchange Students of GDUFS and the cooperation agreement between GDUFS and Audencia Business School, outstanding academic postgraduate students will be selected to study at Audencia next semester. The exchange program will be from September 2025 to December 2025 (subject to the course schedule of Audencia Business School). The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

I. Target candidates

Outstanding full-time academic postgraduate students at School of Business (SoB).

II. Application requirements

1. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, love the motherland, possess good moral character and political integrity, have no record of violations of laws or regulations, and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to serving national development upon return.

2. Abide by laws and regulations, behave with integrity, maintain good physical and mental health, and achieve excellent academic performance with no record of course retakes. Applicants should have a solid academic foundation, strong research and innovation capabilities, and good potential for development. The proposed research abroad should align with the current research focus.

3. IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent English proficiency.

4. Obtain approval from both the academic supervisor and the relevant degree program. The supervisor must also agree to serve as guarantor and assume corresponding responsibilities. For targeted-training students (those with an employer upon admission and a signed targeted training agreement), written consent from the original employer is required to apply for the exchange.

5. The applicant must return to China at least six months before the degree application deadline, within the maximum study period stipulated by the university.

6. Applications will not be accepted from the following categories of students:

(1) Those who have already received overseas funding support.

(2) Those who have received or are currently benefiting from any type of national study-abroad scholarship.

(3) Those who have received or are currently benefiting from any type of university-funded international exchange program.

(4) Those whose applications for national public study-abroad programs are still pending results.

(5) Those who have applied for and been granted funding to attend international academic conferences during the same period.

III. Duration of exchange

The exchange period is from September 2025 to December 2025.

IV. Selection procedures

Following the principles of openness, fairness, and impartiality, the selection will be conducted through individual application, advisor recommendation, expert review, and merit-based admission.

1. Application materials

(1) Application Form for Postgraduate Students Overseas Exchange Programs at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (see Appendix 2);

(2) Research proposal, including background, objectives, preparation, method, expected plan, and follow-up study plan after returning to China. The proposal must be reviewed, commented on, and signed by the academic advisor;

(3) Supporting materials for research achievements, such as copies of journal covers, tables of contents, and the first page of published papers; copies of book covers and copyright pages; copies of award certificates and patent certificates, etc;

(4) Copy of proof of language proficiency and transcript that meet the application requirements;

(5) Copy of ID card (both front and back sides must be copied on a single A4 sheet);

(6) Postgraduate Overseas Exchange Program Agreement (see Appendix 4) and Postgraduate Safety Commitment Letter for Overseas Exchange (see Appendix 5).

Applicants must provide both electronic and printed versions (bound together) of the following materials. Incomplete, inconsistent, or falsified materials will result in disqualification.
