On October 9, 2018, SoB received official notification from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) that it had successfully obtained eligibility for accreditation under EFMD’s Programme Accreditation System (EPAS). This signifies that SoB’s EPAS accreditation work has officially entered the accreditation process.
SoB adheres to the strategic path of “relying on accreditation, promoting construction by evaluation, and promoting connotative development and continuous improvement with international characteristics”, striving to build SoB into a high-level business school with distinctive international features. SoB’s international and domestic accreditation efforts have been progressing continuously: in 2015, SoB earned AMBA international accreditation and achieved AMBA re-accreditation in 2018; in 2017, it obtained CAMEA accreditation eligibility; and in 2017, it obtained AACSB membership. After obtaining EFMD membership in 2016, SoB has now obtained EPAS accreditation eligibility. Achieving EPAS accreditation eligibility is of great significance for promoting continuous improvement in teaching quality, strengthening SoB’s management level, and further refining its internationalization characteristics.
